Locks of Love

Usually, I write about brides, photoshoots, and people I have had the oportunity to work with. Some of my sweetess and kindest clients are actually kids. I love working with them.

Chasity at the age of eight, is such a sweet little girl. I have now been doing her hair for three years and today her visit was different from any other. She came in and told me she wanted to cut all her hair off.  I asked her mother for the reason. I mean long hair is so charished nowadays and usually for Chasidy we do the usual trim trying to let her hair grow out. However, her mother then explained to me that one of her little friends has cancer and Chasity was really concerned for him. Therefore, in his honor she decided to cut and donate her hair to Locks of Love.  For those of you who don't know Locks of Love is a non-profit based  charity in the United States. The organization accepts donations of human hair and money, with the stated intention of making wigs for needy children who have lost their hair due to a medical condition in Canada and the USA. After cutting Chasity's hair I realized how greatful we should be for the hair we do have which we often complain about. To Chasity I wanted to let know how proud of you I am that you are growing to be such a kind girl :)

May God Bless You and your friend will be in my prayers<3

Above is a picture of Chasity holding her hair, with her new bob-style a-line which she now rocks ;)
