I was in Europe two weeks but rather than it feeling like I was only there two weeks it felt like two long months.  I have traveled throughout many places throughout Europe, United States, and Mexico but I still found myself longing to be home. Last month, I was in Mexico three weeks no team, or person close to me but this time it felt like I was only there three days. Time zoomed by, perhaps it was because this time out of all of my times of being there, it wasn't just sightseeing and visiting but I got to do what I love (I carried out a land assessment in order to build a church facility, a school for people with disabilities, had the opportunity to serve at a church God continues to bless each day and work with children). This has been the most rewarding experience of my life and I know this is only the beginning to many other projects I will be carrying out in Ruiz Cortinez, Sinaloa Mexico.

Here is a picture of me with the wonderful group of kids I had the opportunity to work with, we are in front of the land where the church facility and their classrooms will be built.

Life a lesson of loving others more than yourself. -Sinaloa, Mexico 2013

Aside from that I have been applying to many internships been interviewed by a few companies but have not yet landed on the internship I need. Yup...landing on the right internship can be highly stressful. However, I have learned to keep applying, keep interviewing, and not giving up. Plus it is not worth to stress about it when there are greater things happening and going on in life :)  Although I have read this verse many times I have been really mediating upon it lately...

"But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint."

-Isaiah 40:31

I am grateful for the Word, the wonderful peace it brings upon my soul, and the impact it has upon my life.

Anyways, aside from all the those happenings, I had the opportunity to work alongside photographer Jackie Lamas, beautiful bride to be Brenda, and her kind fiance Marcos. Together, we worked on Brenda's and Marco's engagement shoot in Malibu and LACMA. I did two different hair style changes and touch up's for Brenda while on sight. For the first time I assisted photographer Jackie with holding the flash at the correct position and angle ;) (hahah...Jackie it was my pleasure). Here is a sneak peak of the shoot...I can't wait to post the ones of the make-up and different styles. Next Tuesday, I will be working on another inspired shoot with Pose Photography stay tuned for the hair and make-up look...

The beach in Malibu was calm and just beautiful that day :)
